Altered diffuser bottles- II

My two new bottles. This bottle is done with paper napkins and is a picture of me at 4 or 5 years old.
My next bottle is done with a large mouthed bottle and contains a picture of my Aunt Judy as
a little girl.
Click on any of the pictures to see a closer view.
Here is the picture of my Aunt Judy and some other pictures I was playing with today. I cleaned up the original pictures and played with the clarity and contrast to make them sharper and more visible.

Altered diffuser bottles

Ever since my mom passed away in July I can't stop thinking about this beautiful little collection of altered bottles that she had made. I finally decided to set down my other projects and give these little bottles a try. My first bottle is, of course, inspired by my mom and has a picture of her on it.
My next bottle is a little different and contains a picture of my granddaughter, Anna on it.
Eventually I hope to fill a shelf with my bottles and have each bottle represent a different member of my family.

Book sculpture- SWISS FAMILY ROBINSON

Finally ready to post a picture of my Swiss Family Robinson book sculpture. Spent a lot of time getting the "tree houses" to look exactly like I wanted. Love the shoreline on this one. Can't see it in the picture but there is a table and chair in the larger treehouse. Trentyn (my grandson) is completely mesmerized by the book sculptures. After he studied this one a while he said, "grandma are they going to put water in that bucket?" :)
Zentangles

Finally remembered to buy batteries for my camera so I'm catching up on some pictures for my blog. This is my little collection of zentangles. I gotta say they are aptly named because there is an overall zen-like feeling when you're working a tangle. No pressure, no aspirations, just taking a breather and doodling..it's great.
